Tech Staff Changes

I am pleased to announce recent staff changes in the Technology Department.  In response to the changing technology support needs of the district, more technology staff resources are being made available at the building level and systems administration responsibilities are being redistributed.

New Face

Romeo Templeton is the newest member of the technology support team.  Romeo is a former Marine who has completed his Microsoft Technology Associate certification and formal training with Centriq Training in the Information Systems track.  Along with his military technical training, Romeo brings several years of customer service experiences in retail sales.

Romeo will be the primary building technology support for Lewis Elementary and the Middle School.

Familiar Faces

Some familiar faces in the technology department are donning different responsibilities.

Leigh McKinney is now the primary building technology support for Westview Elementary and the High School.

Jeff Daul is now the primary building technology support for the remainder of district locations.  Jeff is also the Technology Technician Lead and will assist the other technicians as well as be a technical support resource for the other technicians.

Patty Kistner is now the Help Desk Technician focusing on providing initial contact support for end user help requests, visitors to the Tech offices, and visitors to the Early Childhood Center.  Patty will continue to also serve as the administrative assistant to the department.

Amy Allen is now a systems administrator primarily focusing on all software systems that are integrated with the student information system.  Amy will also assist with other systems administrator duties along with Adam and myself.

Adam Brandon is now a Systems Administrator, moving from his previous role as Network Administrator.  Adam's primary role is to insure everything works.

The goal of this iteration of the Technology Department is the same as it has been for the past 7 years, to provide the best quality technical support possible.  I believe this crew can do it.
